Leaders Light International Church, over the weekends, paid a courtesy call on the Omanhene of New Juaben Traditional Area, Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III as part of activities marking their maiden annual National Women Convention.
The church also presented food items and hampers as Christmas gift to the Paramount Chief as their widows might towards the Christmas festivity.
The call on the Omanhene also provided opportunity for the leadership of the church to officially introduce themselves to the Omanhene after his coronation as New Juaben and acquaint themselves to him to ensure the church operates within tenets of the traditional authority’s rules.
The church also presented, a replica items to the chief of Okorase Nana Asare Kumi and a television sets to the Police administration in New Juaben.
The founder of the church, Apostle Dr Samuel Kofi Dadzie in a sideline interview with the media, he stressed the need for strong alliance between the church, the traditional authorities and the relevant stakeholders in the communities.
He urged Christians to be hopeful and show love to their neighbors in the yuletide season.
Speaking to journalists in Koforidua, the man of God reveals that, it takes a collective efforts to build a strong economic fortunes of each country hence the need to support the government in diverse ways to bring back the economy on track.
The Omanhene of New Juaben traditional area, Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III on his part acknowledged the church and its contribution to society.
He underscored the importance of fostering peace and coexistence among the citizenry as the requisite tool for development under his leadership.
Meanwhile, delivering her sermon to climax the convention, the national women’s leader of Leaders light international church, Deaconess Elizabeth Adu cautioned members to desist from attitude of hatred and encouraged each other towards the good works of Christ.
Deaconess Elizabeth Adu urged them to serve as ambassadors of Christ thereby preaching the gospel to others to see the light.
