The 2022 B’allon d’Or winner Karim Benzema has announced his retirement in football on the national team side.
According to the Real Madrid and French national team forward, he was not going to continue with the national again but will still continue with the club level.
Benzema who made 97 appearances in the national team with his debut in 2007 became the fifth all time scorer for the national team with 37 goals.
The French forward who could not join the team to the 2022 world cup due to injury, announced his retirement decision for the national team on his 36th birthday.
He is currently expected to continue with his club side, Real Madrid to give a thrilling performance after full time recovery from injury.
