Wives of billionaire Asuma Banda clash at hospital as his health deteriorates, allegedly demand his signature to his money and properties
A chaotic video has surfaced online showing the moment the immediate family of Asuma Banda go head to head in disagreement over his signature to his monies and properties as his health fast deteriorates.
Alhaji Asuma Banda’s health keeps becoming worse while being cared for by his second wife, Baaba Edwina Coussey, who is accused of having “imprisoned” him by denying access to his first wife, kids, and other family members, which made his health worse.
The billionaire is reportedly on admission at the 37 Military Hospital where he is being treated for an undisclosed ailment. The sad footage shows the CEO of Antrak Air and Logistics looking quite weak and on life support as he could hardly speak.
His bed was surrounded by his, first wife and children alongside the second wife and her children as well. The man recording the video asked his father to show his hands while claiming that Baaba had been signing cheques and other documents in his name.
When the feud dragged on for a while, security men at the health facility entered the hospital ward to take away Alhaji Banda with protests from his son and first wife.
Previously on these internal squabbles, the head of the family pleaded with the government to step in during a news conference a few days ago in Accra to secure the release of their ailing royal so they could transport them back to their hometown for appropriate care and treatment.
The family views this action by the second wife as an effort to keep Alhaji Banda away from the family, the family head said, adding that the second wife of Alhaji Banda arrived at 37 Hospital with a court order requesting that Alhaji be released to her despite his condition.
Mr Abu Bandah who doubles as the Banda Chief in the Ashanti region is fiercely opposed to that move and has called on the power that is to ensure that Alhaji Asuma Banda is handed over to the family.
