Western Region: 3-month-old baby abandoned by his mother at Beahu M/A School
A heartless mother has abandoned her baby in the Ahanta West Municipality of the Western Region.
The 3 month old baby boy was found inside a classroom of Beahu M/A Basic School on Thursday December 8, 2022.
Eye witness says they saw a woman alighting from a car at the Beahu Bus terminal. The woman abandoned the baby inside the school classroom and also boarded another car from the Beahu Bus terminal.
The eye witness said all efforts to nab the mother of the baby proved futile by the civilians. However, calls were made to the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) of Ahanta West Municipality and the baby is in their custody for proper care.
Police have began investigation into the matter.
