The Member of Parliament (MP) for Twifo Atti-Morkwa Constituency in the Central Region Hon. Chief David Vondee has unambiguously explained that, the popular political slogan by the New Patriotic Party(NPP) “Breaking the 8” is a wise saying which actual interpretation is that, the dollar is rather to break the 8 but not the NPP as a political party in government and they have perfectly achieved that goal.

Chief David Vondee added that, as we speak, the prices of fuel and other goods have already broken the 8 all as a result of gross mismanagement and incompetence of the NPP government.

He said, power has suddenly metamorphosed President Akufo Addo such that, he does not listen to the cry of Ghanaians to the extreme extent of sitting in the heart of the strong hold of NPP (Kumasi) to tell them in the face that “voting for NPP or NDC is your choice, I cannot force you to vote for NPP”.

Chief David Vondee said, these words depict insensitivity by this government.

The Wassa East based radio station WASSAMAN FM also spoke with the Twifo Atti-morkwa constituency NDC chairman, Mr Hakim Addai who called on the newly elected constituency party executives and all party members to be led by unity so that they can make Twifo Atti-morkwa a no go area for NPP.

Finally, Mr Hakim Addai assured that, the NDC in the central region is committed and determined to working hard to win majority of the seats in the region for the NDC in 2024.
