On Tuesday 29th November, 2022 *Mr Seth Osei-Akoto popularly known as Nana Owusu Sekyere handed over an ultramodern ICT Facility he has built for the Adobewora Circuit in the Atwima Mponua District.
The facility, which is meant to serve the over twelve schools in the six different communities within the Adobewora Circuit is equipped with high powered computer laptops, projector and other computer accessories worth over 500 million old cedis.
Explaining his reasons for putting up such a magnificent facility for the Circuit, Nana Owusu Sekyere explained how technological knowledge has become the atom of all educational acquisitions.
He said the first time he ever used computer was when he got the opportunity to study abroad for his Masters degree. He therefore, advised the teachers and students to make good use of the facility.
The District Director of Education, Mrs Adwubi Adjei Sarfo who recieved the facility on behalf of the district, expressed her greatest gratitude to Nana Sekyere, and thanked him for the splendid things he is doing for the district.
She described Nana Owusu Sekyere as a man of peerless substance with unquenchable vision for humanity.
The three Assembly Members for the three electoral areas within the Circuit, also expressed their outmost appreciations to Nana Owusu Sekyere.
They described him as an iconic pillar that can be relied upon for the developmental and transformative goal that the good people of Atwima Mponua are seeking for. They pledged their total support to him for any vision he has for the district.
The traditional leaders who also graced the occasion stated that this is the first time in the history of Atwima Mponua that an individual has singlehandedly built such a monumental facility for the district.
The Ceremony was gracefully attended by Chiefs and Elders from various communities, Assembly Members, Educational Officers, Headteachers, Students and Community members.
The Adobewora Circuit is made up of six traditional communities, namely; Bontomuruso, Adobewora, Aniamoah, Ntobroso, Achiase and Atuntuma.
