MP pleads with Government to reduce prices of weedicides for Farmers

The Member of Parliament(MP) for Tain Constituency Hon. Sulemana Adama popularly known as Hon. Ramzy has made a partionate appeal to the current government that it should intervene in regulating and reducing the galloping rising prices of wedicides and other farming materials which Farmers use on their farms in other to produce more yield during the season.
He made this appeal at the 38th edition of the Farmer’s Day celebration held at Njau-Tanoso in the Tain District of the Bono Region on the 2nd of December, 2022.
In an interview with Ojam, Hon. Ramzy congratulated the farmers for doing their best to feeding Ghana in the midst of these deplorable roads.
He made mention of some specific roads which according to the DCE were awarded to contactors i.e Badu junction to Badu, and Nsawkaw Seikwa roads all under High Ways category.Finally, BROHANI road which is under Feeder roads and a grader working on it as he speaks.
He stressed that his common fund cannot cater for all these and therefore pleaded with government to fulfill its promises as answered in Parliament when he asked questions about these roads.
