The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana Dr. Alhaji Mahamadu Bawumia has been described as Harry Maguire, defender for English Team Manchester United (Man U).
Hon. Isaac Adongo, the Bolgatanga Central Member of Parliament (MP) who described Veep as the football player says Dr. Bawumia behaves same as the player.
Hon. Adongo speaking on the floor of Parliament about the current of the economy said, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia was hailed by many Ghanaians when they were in opposition because of his so called economic lectures.
He added that, the football defender Harry Maguire was also given same applause at his former team before joining Manchester United.
But, after Manchester United bought the player, he is now the worst player in the team, according to Hon. Isaac Adongo saying he scores his own team for his opponent to win.
Juxtaposing the two people: Harry Maguire and Vice President Dr. Alhaji Mahamadu Bawumia.
Adongo said:
“Dr. Bawumia was touted by Ghanaians through his fake economic lectures as the economic Messiah when his party, New Patriotic Party (NPP) was in opposition but now, Bawumia is worst in terms of economist”.
