Mampong MCE outlines developmental projects in his municipality
The Municipal Chief Executive of Asante Mampong Municipality, Hon Thomas Appiah Kubi has outlined some projects that have initiated and delivered under Akufo Addo’s led administration that have been transformed the municipality.
According to him, there are so many developmental projects that have been delivered especially health facilities like Bunoso Health Center, Nkwanta Chip Compound, Zipline and other health facilities that have rescued people’s life in the area.
Reviewing to Atinka News reporter Obofo Michael, Hon Appiah Kubi Stressed on how the Zipline initiative under the government’s policy has helped in the distribution of medicine to the people in the community and other region in the country since the time of the covid-19.
He also outlined other projects like, Adidwan Police station and 3 unit classroom blocks for the community, 4 unit classroom blocks for Daaho community ,6 unit classroom blocks and 10 unit blocks of Teachers Quarters for Sekruwa community.
He also mentioned Ultral Morden Community Centre and High Court Facility at Mampong, One district one factory project at Abuontem, extension of electricity from Bosomkyekye to Bunuso.
He touched on roads and many more projects.
He further called on the Director of power, Mr Solomon to help the municipal to get access to light.
According to him, machines and other equipment for the clinic and other institutions can’t be used since access to the lighting system is poor.
Meanwhile, the acting headmaster of SaKruwa M/A primary school in the Mampong Municipal,Mr Victor Osei has expressed his appreciation to the authorities in the municipality for their new 6 unit classrooms block adding that it will help accommodate a large number of students.
And the new 10 unit blocks of Teachers Quarters for the Sekruwa teacher.
He also appealed to the MCE and government to help to provide lighting system in the community.
