NPP Break The ‘8’: Women urged to lead the mantra

The New Patriotic Party, in New Juaben South Constituency Women’s Wing under the auspices of Regina Bempong on Wednesday, 27th July, 2022, organized a polling station Women’s Wing meeting at Koforidua towards rehearsals for the upcoming 2024 elections.

The maiden meeting, which was on the theme: “Empowering Our Women to break the 8″ was aimed at, among other objectives, providing a platform for the women’s wing of the NPP to take stock of their activities and to strategise for victory in the 2024 general election.

According to Regina Bempong, the engagement was the first of its kind in the constituency in the Eastern region after the party’s chronological elections held this year.

Speaking in a sideline interview with Afeema FMs’ Journalist, Kaakyire Kwasi Afari, the Constituency Women Organizer, Regina Bempong said, the meeting was also aimed at reactivating all the polling station women’s wing leaders in New Juaben South to enable members to chart a new path for growth.

She said it was paramount for the women to work hard by embarking on effective membership drive to showcase the government’s pro-poor policies that have benefited the vulnerable and the poor to the voter to retain the NPP to continue governing the country.

She charged the women to start the campaign for Election 2024 now by winning the souls and minds of the people in New Juaben South Constituency.

Madam Bempong recounted that the NPP have enough records to preach about in going into 2024 election because they have delivered on their promises which unfortunately hit by unprecedented global challenges.

The leadership thanked the Constituency Women Organizer for hosting them and promised that her advice giving to them won’t be in vain.

They were really glad for such an insightful motivation, they promised her that they will lift the flag of the party high even beyond boundaries to propagate the achievements of the party.

Hajia Mariam, Hausa Mosque Zongo polling station women organizer also pointed out that thousands of Ghanaian women, who could not afford to send their children to senior high school due to high school fees, were now saving thousands of Ghana cedis for other economic ventures as a result of the policy.
