A/R: SUSPECTED THIEF LYNCHED AT AMOAWI | VIDEO
A Twenty Four (24) year old suspected thief, only identified as Illiasu has been lynched at a town called Amoawi in the Offinso South Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
He was beaten to death by the angry mob.
His accomplice was also beaten to pulp by the mob but timely intervention of the Offinso Police rescued him.
This incident happened on Tuesday, November 22, 2022.
Narrating what happened to Filasconews.com, eye witness Offei Daniel said the deceased and his friend allegedly went to operation at the abovementioned town but luck eluded them after the operation.
He said the CCTV at the house captured all their heinous activities.
The owner of the house after the incident showed video the people and they were able to identifying the two young men in the video.
One of the suspects was arrested few minutes after the operation via the support of the CCTV. He was nearly lynched but the Police came in to salvage the situation.
The other one, Illiasu(24) unknowingly was living normal in the community when he was nabbed and lynched by the irate youth.
His body has been deposited at the morgue for autopsy and preservation while his accomplice is in the custody of the police to assist in investigation.
