A/R: Osei Kwaku, 55, Stabs His Sister to Death at Atwima Twedie

A Fifty(50) year old woman called Akua Akyiaa has been stabbed to death by her own brother, a 55 year old Osei Kwaku.
The incident happened at Atwima Twedie in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region on Wednesday.
However, the Assembly member for Twedie Hon. Augustine Osei has confirmed the news to Filasconews.com in an interview today.
According to Hon. Augustine Osei, a misunderstanding ensued between the two siblings over a ride. He said, the suspect, Osei Kwaku informed his younger sister Akua Akyiaa to convey him in her car to the hospital for a medical review.
Meanwhile, Akua Akyiaa refused to take his brother in his car to the health facility.
This generated quarrel between the duo hence began verbal scuffle.
This led to the intervention of their uncle, Mr. Owusu Adomako to resolving the issue by calling them into his house and spoke to them.
The two siblings after the short meeting with their uncle returned to the house where the unfortunate thing happened.
The suspect according to eye witnesses in the house went to the kitchen, took a knife and pounced her sister with the knife.
Akua Akyiaa was rushed to the hospital but health practitioners on duty pronounce her dead upon arrival.
The suspect has however been arrested and arraigned before court.
