A/R: Kofi, 24, Drowns In A River At Brofoyeduru

The sad news reached Filasconews.com has it that, a 24 year old man, Kofi Buabeng has drown in a River at Brofoyeduru in the Bosome Freho District of the Ashanti Region.
The incident happened on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, but his lifeless body was discovered and removed from the River today, Thursday November 10,2022.
Eye witnesses say he went to the Riverside(Galamsey pit filled with water) to swim but unfortunately lost his life.
They say the decease together with his colleagues normally go for swimming in the water in the abandoned galamsey pit.
While swimming yesterday around 5:00pm, he drown.
Efforts to retrieving the body from the river in the evening proved futile until this morning after the elders in the community performed libation.
His body was found by the rescuers and has been conveyed to the morgue for autopsy and preservation at Akyease Hospital also in Bosome Freho District.
Police has commenced investigation into the incident.
