A man believed to be in his 60s has been found dead at Childrens Park in the Afful Nkwanta Electoral area of the Ashanti Region.
The lifeless body of the man yet to be identified was discovered by the residents of Afful Nkwanta on Monday, October 24, 2022.
The residents said the deceased is not known in the community.
However an eye witness and a journalist of AshFM Nana K. Duah confirmed the sad news on Tuesday morning, on Silver FM’s Omanbapa morning show hosted by Nana Ampratwum monitored by Filasconews.com.
The killers are yet to be apprehended by the police.
However, the Assembly member of Afful Nkwanta Electoral area, Hon. Daniel Otuo Acheampong is appealing to authorities for security support in the area.
This is not the first time a crime of this kind has been committed in the same area, Childrens Park, therefore the residents are calling for immediate action to deal with the situation.
