Online drivers to go on sit down strike on Friday
Online Driver, specifically Boat drivers have sent a signal that they will go on strike on Friday, 28th October, 2022.
According to them, their action was triggered by unfair treatment from their management.
They said it on Kumasi based Silver FM’s Omanbapa morning show hosted by Nana Ampratwum on Monday October 24, 2022.
Some online drivers who trooped into the radio station’s studio this morning bemoaned the economic hardship their app managers are putting them through
They said the charges are too small while their management also take huge percentage from it.
They mentioned 25%-30% as the share of their management in every offer they get.
They have therefore vowed to go on sit down strike come Friday.
“By Friday all boat members are going sit down strike”, the boat drivers stressed on the show monitored by Filasconews.com.
