The Sunyani High Court has directed that the Assembly member of Babianiha in the Jaman South Municipality in the Bono Region, Hon. Simon Obeng and two others who are standing trial for the murder of one Wale be brought back to the Drobo Police cells.
On the 8th September, 2022, the Assembly member Hon. Simon Obeng was arrested by the Jaman South Police for allegedly murdering one Northerner who was accused of being a goat and pig thief in his electoral area.
According to our reporter, Kyepag Boniface, the suspects should be re-arranged before court on Thursday 22nd September, 2022.
He stated that, the court wants them to follow the daily routine where the case is sent first to the circuit court before the actual trial is done at the High Court.
