Two people have met their untimely demise while washing up in a river at Sefwi Yaw Brefo in the Juaboso District of the Western Region.
The duo, illegal miners, fell into the river while cleaning up their dirty bodies after galamsey activities in the area.
Sadly, they drown.
Their bodies after retrieval were rushed to the Juaboso Government Hospital but confirmed dead upon arrival by health officers on duty.

According to the report, 21 years old Dramani(decease) fell into the river, in an attempt to rescuing his friend, Kelvin Abugri, 22, stepped into the river.
Both, failed to swimming to safety and drown.
Their bodies have been conveyed by the Juaboso Police and deposited at the Juaboso Government Hospital’s morgue for autopsy and preservation.
