“We have registered our sim cards, they have still blocked our numbers” – Customers fight telcos

Some customers who thronged into offices of the telecommunications have lamented that, though they have gotten their sim cards registered, the telcos have still blocked their phone numbers.
Some angry customers who spoke to Filasconews.com on Saturday, 10th September, 2022, cried out that, they have been unable to make calls while their sims were registered by same providers.
One said, ” I have registered my sim long time ago but this morning my phone number has been blocked from making calls”
Other female interviewee also told Filasconews.com during the vox pop interview that, ” brother, I want to make important call to my mother but my sim is blocked”.
Whether she registered her sim or not, she said, “I registered my sim card long time ago”.
Thousands of people thronged into the offices of the telcos especially MTN offices. Some even fought officials and security forces in the various MTN offices across the country.
These disturbed customers are calling on the authorities to rectifying the problem as soon as possible to enable them make phone calls with their registered sim cards.
Some have even threatened to boycotting the usage of a particular sim provider if the problem continues.
