No need to review Free SHS funding – Educationist
To Mr. John. Owusu Government should not heed to the calls by some individuals to review the source of funding of the Free Senior High School (F-SHS) policy.
According to Educationist in an interview with the media, reviewing the source of funding for the Free Senior High will deprive some ‘poor’ children from enjoying the policy.
Mr. John Owusu added that, the rich in the society wants to take over education for their children’s only thereby putting pressure on the Government to reviewing the source of funding for the policy.
But Mr. John Owusu was quick to adding that, Government should rather review the boarding facility for the students.
He said Government can boarding from the free and make parents pay for the boarding fees of their wards instead of touching the policy itself.
