Hive donates another borehole to Pentecost High School (Bremang)
A prominent blockchain called Hive, built on web3.0 technology, has donated another borehole to a Ghanaian community. This is the fourth borehole built by the hive ecosystem in Ghana to enhance the quality and efficiency of human existence and the lives of those living in water-stressed villages.
Hive is a well-known blockchain technology with the goal of assisting and empowering communities all around the world. It is a decentralised platform that uses the hive ecosystem to improve people’s lives. Pentecost Senior High School (Bremang) in Ghana’s Ashanti Region received a well-finished borehole via the hive blockchain on September 2nd, 2022.
In an interview, the school’s headmaster, Mr. Albert Mensah expressed genuine gratitude to the hive ecosystem for supplying clean drinking water to assist serve the school as well as the Bremang community. Today, we recognise the hive ecosystem as a blockchain platform that has provided a well-equipped borehole to a Ghanaian community.
It is important to mention that Pentecost SHS in Bremang is the fourth town in Ghana to benefit from the hive ecosystem’s many empowering projects aimed at changing people’s lives and providing an improved standard of life.
Ghana is not only overjoyed to benefit from blockchain technology comprising a foundation layer for a multitude of decentralised apps (dApps), Services, Games, websites, and interfaces that enable users store and access all of this information and content in a ledger using web3.0. but a blockchain which seeks to enhance the quality and efficiency of human existence all over the world.
What is Hive?
Hive is a decentralised information-sharing network with a blockchain-based financial ledger that uses the Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) protocol. Hive provides a diverse set of information-sharing tools. A wide range of dapps, APIs, and front-ends contribute to the data accessibility of the Hive blockchain. Hive is intended to store enormous amounts of data and make it rapidly available for time-based monetization.
Some application cases include social media with financial incentives for content producers, interactive games, identity management, polling systems, and micro-loans. The effectiveness of the blockchain is projected to grow as the currency and platforms become more extensively utilised.
