Wassa Amenfi East MP Donates 150 Bags of Cement, Cash to Complete Wassa Japa Police Station Project

The member of Parliament for Wassa Amenfi East Constituency in the Western region, hon. Nicholas Amankwah has presented 150 bags of cement and gh¢2,000 to the Chiefs of Wassa Japa to help complete its on-going building project.
The MP speaking in a mini durbar organized by the Chiefs on Monday, 29, he said, the gesture was part of his corporate social responsibilities towards institutions, individuals and organisations to achieve their goals even when his party NDC is in opposition.
According to him, he received a request for assistance from the chiefs to complete the building and due to the strategic and the security purpose of the project he can’t sit aloof without his support.
The MP who’s affectionately called Home Boy stressed that, he is poised to developing Wassa Japa and Amenfi East with infrastructure and social amenities in the area hence, he called for collective efforts to support the agenda.
Hon. Nicholas Amankwah noted the gesture as an opportunity to support the duties of the police in the constituency in offering effective security for the constituents.
Expressing worry over the spate of armed robbery in Wassa Amenfi East, Home Boy used the platform to call for effective measures to stop the criminals from harassing people.
According to the Member of Parliament, the spate of armed robbery cases in Wassa Amenfi East will deter investors from creating avenues like investment and creation of jobs for the youth.
He finally called for more assistance from institutions and individuals to help them complete their Clinic infrastructure and the police project on time and also furnish it with adequate resources.
