It has been confirmed that, Thirty(30) people have been killed by a strange bat at Twifo-Esukese Ekyir in the Hemang Lower Denkyira District of the Central Region.
Confirming the incident on Kumasi based Silver FM’s morning show in Kumasi chaired by Nana Kwabena Ampratwum, monitored by Filasconews.com, Joel Donkor, journalist with Bankam FM said the Chief Linguist in the community has confirmed the incident.
According to Joel, Nana Kofi Damtse, the Chief Linguist in the community revealed that, it has been 25 years since the strange bird came into their community.
Nana Damtse added that, 30 people have lost their lives by the bat.
Explaining why attributing the deaths to the existence of the bird, Nana Kofi Damtse opined that, anytime the bird(bat) “cries”, one or two people die(s) in the community for the past 25 years.
God being so good, a 30 year old hunter in the community, Isaac Nkoom has rescued the situation.
The strange bird, has been gunned by the 30 year old man and the residents are jubilating over the development.
