E/R: MP cuts sod for the construction of 116 lockable stores in Birim North
The Member of Parliament (MP) of Abirem Constituency in the Eastern Region, Hon. John Osei Frimpong has cut sod for the construction of One Hundred and Sixteen (116) lockable stores in Birim North.
The sod cutting ceremony was done on, Thursday, August 18, 2022, together with the Birim North District Chief Executive e(DCE) Chiefs and People.
Some of the beneficial communities are Akyem Afosu, New Abirem, Nkwateng etc.
The Projects and the Various Communities
1. 16-Lockable Stores at Afosu Market (phase 1)
2. 64-Lockable Stores at New Abirem
3. 12-Seater W/C Toilet Facility with bathrooms at New Abirem Government Hospital
4. 36-Market Sheds/Stores at Nkwateng
All the contractors have been charged to complete the projects within the stipulated period.
After the sod cutting, he inspected the on-going construction of AstroTurf project at New Abirem which he was impressed with the progress of work.
The chief of New Abirem Obrempong Kwasi Amoh Kyeretwie l thanked the MP, Hon. John Osei Frimpong and asked him to continue his good works for the people in the catchment area.
Other dignitaries present were Nana Amanie Ankrah II, Chief of Nkwateng and Nana Kofi Owusu Amoh III, Chief of Afosu and NPP Constituency Executives.
