Unpaid Salary: NABCO Trainees petition Asantehene, set to demonstrate at the Jubilee House next week
Nation Builders Corps have petitioned Otumfour Osei Tutu ii and have also notice that, August 18, 2022, they will demonstrate against the government over their unpaid salary.
NABCO Trainees have successfully petitioned the Asantehene Otumfour Osei Tutu (ii) over their nine months unpaid salary by their employer.
The petition is entreating the Asante monarch to intervene and speak to the Government on behalf of the disgruntled NABCO employees to be paid their due amounts.
According to the trainees, the arrears date from November, 2021 till date.
This announcement was officially made at their National Press Conference held recently.
They said the situation is really affecting their livelihood as they have no other source of living.
They hinted that, on Thursday, August 18, 2022, they are going to picket at the seat of the government to express their grievances to the employer.
The starting point for the picketing is Obra Spot in Accra at exactly 7am, to Ring road, through the frontal area of TV 3 to Jubilee House to present their petition.
They have called on all their members to join the move in their NABCO t-shirts or red/black shirts to demonstrate.
