Having a stroke is a medical emergency that can happen when your brain doesn’t get enough blood to work.
Atherosclerosis is a condition in which the blood vessels called arteries that bring blood to the brain become clogged with fat and other things. This blood has the oxygen and nutrients your brain cells need. Because the artery is clogged or broken, blood may not be able to flow through. Brain cells die when they don’t get enough blood.
As soon as you have a stroke, your brain cells usually die. However, if the blood flow isn’t completely cut off, some people can only last a few hours. A few of these cells may be able to work again if they get enough blood flow in the minutes and hours after the stroke. If not, they will also die.
Your poor diet is one of the things that led to your stroke. When you eat a lot of certain foods, you may be more likely to have a stroke and other health problems. To avoid having a stroke, you should not eat too many of the following things.

You have a higher chance of having a stroke if you smoke too many cigarettes or tobacco. As soon as you stop smoking, your risk of having a stroke can go down by as much as half, which can happen in less than a year.
However, it’s not a good idea to start smoking again after a period of not smoking. After having a stroke, smoking raises the risk of death. After having a stroke, people who go back to this way of living have a three-fold greater chance of dying.
Don’t drink too much alcohol.
Alcohol has been drunk by most people at some point in their lives. Moderate alcohol use is good for your health, but binge drinking can be bad for your health.
Alcohol, especially alcohol abuse, can make you more likely to have a stroke. Study: Drinking one to two bottles of alcohol a day can raise your risk of having a stroke by 10% to 15%. A few more drinks can raise your risk of stroke by up to 35%.
Don’t eat too much red meat.
People who eat a lot of red meat are much more likely to have a stroke. Over two servings of red meat, a day increased the risk of stroke by 28%. People who ate less than one-third of a serving of red meat a day were less likely to have a stroke.
If you want to cut your risk of having a stroke, you should cut back on red meat one day a week and eat almonds or fish instead. Reduce the amount of red meat you eat, and for your good, stop drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes.
