Invest in Agriculture, depend on our natural resources to stabilize the Economy – Gov’t told
The Founder and Leader of God of Fire Ministry and Ogya Nyame Prayer Camp at Goaso of the Ahafo region, Nana Sefa popularly known as Prophet Ogya Nyame has called on Government to invest more in Agriculture.
Prophet Ogya Nyame who also doubles as a renowned farmer stated that, the Government should also depend on the country’s natural resources to develop the nation Ghana.
The Prophet cum Farmer the economy will be stabilized if Government prioritize Agriculture and pump more money it and also utilize well with our natural resources income.
He said, there is too much hardship in the country. Farm Products according to him are too expensive to buy.
He wants government cuts short the burden on citizens to relief the people.
“Prices of foods are to high as compared to the previous years.
Maize prices have shoot up that, now, one bag of maize stands at GHc 5,000…why?”, He added.
He entreated the government to make the agric business lucrative and attractive to the youths in order to get into it.
“The more the youths get involve in the Agric Business, the more the economy will boost”, he stressed.
Prophet Ogya Nyame made these known in an interview with Nana Nyarko (Journalist) today at Goaso in the Ahafo Region.
