Young man gunned down by unknown assailants
A 35-year old man shot dead at Teacher Mantea.
35-year-old man was on Thursday shot dead at Kyekyewere near Teacher Mante in the Ayensoano District of the Eastern Region.
Briefing the Ghana News Agency at Teacher Mante, ASP Kojo Nartey, Police Commander in charge of Coaltar said the deceased body had been sent to the Police Hospital in Accra for autopsy.
ASP Nartey said no arrest had so far been made but the investigation was ongoing.
He stated that there was another man who was yet to be identified by the police and had also been sent to the Nsawam Government Hospital for treatment for receiving gunshot injuries.
