Bad Roads: Concerned Citizens of Ayanfuri petition Government
Concerned citizens of Ayanfuri in the Denkyira West District of the Central Region, have petitioned the government through the District Chief Executive demanding roads in their communities to be fixed.
Their petition aims at drawing the attention of the government to work on the roads and thereby aiding transportation in the area.
According to the rwaisents, the government has neglected the Ayanfuri- Kwamprakrom stretch , among other roads , which they argued is a prime example of neglected roads network in the area.
They mentioned that , the persistent rains have been wreaking havoc on the already worse off road network, which needs an urgent attention.
The repercussion of the horrible road network, according to them, the poor road situatikn, has made it difficult for commuters to apply them hence urging authorities responsible to do them needful.
Addressing the petition to the District Chief Executive (DCE) , Richard Koduah, stating that the road network plays a crucial role in the economic activities however, the poor nature of the road which are riddled with potholes scares tourists to visit the community.
