UPDATE: High Court gives chilling verdict on Sunyani East Constituency Elections
UPDATE ON SUNYANI EAST CONSTITUENCY ELECTIONS FOR THE NEW PATRIOTIC PARTY
The Sunyani High Court has given a chilling verdict on the Sunyani East Constituency Elections.
Because of the ruling of the Sunyani High Court:
NO Polling Station Executives in Sunyani East Constituency.
NO Electoral Area Coordinators in Sunyani East Constituency.
NO Constituency Executives in Sunyani East Constituency.
REASON WHY SUNYANI EAST CONSTITUENCY WAS NOT PART OF THE JUST ENDED NATIONAL DELEGATES CONFERENCE IN ACCRA.
According to Mr Peter Mac Manu who was the chairman of the NPP just ended National Delegates conference in Accra, Sunyani East Constituency was never part of the National Delegates’ conference.
This is because the Sunyani High Court had given a ruling against the purported Sunyani East Constituency Executives who were elected at somebody’s filling station.
As it stands now the Sunyani East Constituency has no polling station Executives, Electoral Area Coordinators and Constituency Executives because of the Ruling by the High Court in Sunyani.
The Court, among other things ruled on the 11th May, 2022 that any purported polling station Album for sunyani East Constituency is hereby set-aside and the National Party Headquarters for the New Patriotic Party should delete from its database purported names of polling stations Executives and Electoral Areas Coordinators.
It is expected that the National Party Headquarters for the New Patriotic Party will soon come to the Sunyani East Constituency and conduct all those Elections from the polling stations up to the Constituency levels.
