The Association of CHIEFS in the Birim North Constituency of the Eastern Region are lamenting over lack of accommodations for National Ambulance Service (NAS) and Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) in the Constituency.
The President of the Association, Obrempong Nana Kwasi Amoh Tweretwie (I), speaking to the press called on the Government to provide the necessary needs to the Ambulance Service and National Fire Service in the Birim North District.
Nana said, is very pathetic that, the Birim assembly cannot provide affordable place of accommodations for the aforementioned vital services to operate effectively.
Obrempong also touched on the poor Abirem-Kade road, saying it is in bad state.
He disclosed that passengers and drivers who ply on the road are really suffering, adding that, the contractor has left the site with unknown reasons to them.
Birim North District Officer for the National Ambulance Service (NAS), EMT, Daniel Kwaku Esono who was present at the CHIEFS association program revealed that, the service is poised to helping the people in the area.
He told the people not to hesitate to call the ambulance service Incase of any incident pertaining their service to come to the aid of the victim.
Revealing their challenges, Mr. Esono unearthed lack of fuel as their major problem Incase of emergency.
He entreated the Chiefs to come to their aid.
