Residents of Sefwi Bekwai sharing only appalling toilet facility with dangerous animals – Locals cry for help
Disturbed news gathered by Filasconews.com indicates that, residents of Sefwi Bekwai in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western Region are crying bitterly over inadequate places of convenience.
The disturbed residents revealed in an interview with the press that, they share the only appalling toilet facility with dangerous reptiles.
They added that, it has become very difficult to attend to nature’s call since these animals can end their lives through easing of themselves.
Furthermore, they disclosed many of the residents have resulted freeing themselves in a black polythene and throw them into the bush.
Others also ease themselves in the bush.
They are therefore calling on authorities to come to their aid as all efforts have proven futile.
In reaction to this, the Assembly Member for the area, Hon. Eric Oduro says plans are underway to constructing toilet facilities for the people.
He told Filasconews.com that the only one they have is insufficient and bad in nature for the health of the people.
