The Konongo Divisional Commander of the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD), DSP Paa Yeboah says his outfit will collaborate with the National Road Safety Authority (NRSA) to educate drivers on how to use triple lanes in the country.
According to him, many ocuranses of deadly accidents are usually on triple lanes.
He made this revelation when speaking on Duapa fm’s Bresuo Show on an accident that occurred yesterday 15th June, 2022 which involved a private Corolla LE vehicle and an Aticulator Truck with a Rolling Machine on top which claims lives of a husband and wife onboarding the private vehicle.
He said, the body of the husband within his 40’s while the woman in her 35th years has been deposited in Konongo hospital awaiting the arrival of family members after contacts were traced from their mobile phones for recognition for onward burial.
He therefore voiced out that many of clashes on main Konongo and other adjoining roads are on the triple lanes that shows that Drivers do not know how to use a triple lanes in the country.
He in conclusion said, his outfit will collaborate with the NRSA to educate drivers on how to use triple lanes in the country.
