Ten (10) Black Stars players ruled out of Japan friendly
At least ten Black Stars players have been ruled out of Friday’s friendly against Japan.
Dennis Odoi, Gideon Mensah, Jonathan Mensah, Abdul Mumin, Elisha Owusu, Daniel Kyereh, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Joseph Paintsil, Osman Bukari and Baba Iddrisu will all not be available for the stars having suffered injuries and tested positive for COVID.
All these players travelled with the team to Japan but won’t be available for the game on Friday.
Odoi, Owusu, Kamaldeen, Paintsil and Bukari have all tested positive for COVID with Jonathan Mensah and Abdul Mumin carrying injuries.
Gideon Mensah and Daniel Kyereh on the other hand have been excused to return to their base in Europe to sort out their future with their various Clubs.
Already the Black Stars were without Antione Semenyo, Joe Wollacott, Richard Ofori and Joseph Aidoo who all picked up injuries before the game against Central Africa Republic.
