Four people including bystander confirmed dead in fatal accident
Four people including a bystander has been confirmed dead by the police in Nsawam.
A trailer truck carrying cement on February 7, 2022, at about 12:45pm, rammed into pedestrians and food vendors while descending a hill towards the Mobile area in Nsawam township.
Not only ramming through the pedestrians and food vendors, the teailer truck also crashed taxis that were parked at a local taxi station at the scene.
Several persons have been injured in the accident whiles four persons confirmed dead including a driver of a taxi cab, bystander and some passengers in the taxi.
Nsawam Police Commander, Superintendent Marian Osei Adu Owusu, confirming the incident to newsmen said, the driver of the trailer is currently at large but confirmed one person, believing to be part of the driver has been arrested to help police apprehend the main suspect.

She said the bodies had since been conveyed to the Nsawam Government Hospital for autopsy and preservation.
