BREAKING: Atigya; Atwima Nwabiagya South MP’s Aid Arrested For Defrauding People To The Tune Of Over 8bn
Aid to the Atwima Nwabiagya South Member of Parliament, Mr. Prince Kofi Juantuah is in the grip of the police over fraud and sent to court.
According to a verified source who disclosed this to Filasconews.com said, he has been remanded into police custody.
The source revealed that, Mr. Juantuah was picked up by the police for allegedly defrauding people to the tune of over 8bn(Ghc800,000.00).
Therefore, the Presiding Judge at Nkawie at Nkawie Circuit Court, His Honour Nana Brew remanded him into custody to reappear on June 7, 2022 for the case hearing.
It is alleged that, the suspect promised to offer opportunities in public institutions such as Military, Police etc. to his victims.
But, he failed to fulfill the pledge which, has resulted into his arrest and detention.
Meanwhile, a radio station in Kumasi, Silver FM, in their morning show hosted by Nana Ampratwum, today has also broadcasted the news.
In this same case, the suspect was declared wanted by the police before his arrest and caging.
As at the time of filing this report, Mr. Juantuah is still in the custody to be reappeared in June 7.
