3 People Have Been Killed As A Result Of Police Clash In Akatsi South- Assembly Member Reveals
The Assembly Member of Gefia Electoral Area In the Akatsi South Municipality of the Volta Region has stated that, three people have been shot dead in a clash with the police.
Hon. Jerry Etor Agbo, speaking on a Kumasi based Silver FM revealed that, for the past two weeks, the police have shot three people to death as a result of clash with the police.
He told the host of the show Nana Ampratwum that, last two weeks one person was shot dead in a similar incident in the area.
“Yesterday, clash ensued between the police and the youths again, but unfortunately, the police used live bullets on the people, killing two other youths”, he added during the interview monitored by filasconews.com on Monday, April 11, 2022.
He finally revealed that, peace has returned to the area.
