Lack of toilet facility: 10 pupils, a teacher of Egyankwaa Owuya D/A Basic School have received snake bite

Ten(10) pupils and a head teacher of Egyankwaa Owuya D/A Basic School in the Ekumfi District of the Central Region have been bitten by snake for easing themselves in the bush.
The revelation was made today, Tuesday, November 1, 2022, by a concerned citizen in Central Region also a Journalist Paa Solo Savvy on a Kumasi based Silver FM’s Omanbapa morning show hosted by Nana Kwabena Ampratwum.
According to Paa Solo Savvy at least 10 students and a teacher of the school have received snake bite over lack of place of convenience in the School.
“Somewhere last year a head teacher of the school was easing himself in the bush and a snake bite his “bottom”, close to his private organs”, Paa Solo disclosed on the show monitored by Filasconews.com.
He said a student who was at the same time defecating in the same bush came to rescue the teacher and rushed him to the hospital for treatment.
Egyankwaa Owuya D/A Basic School in the Central Region lacks infrastructure including toilet facility.
The pupils and the staff are therefore calling on authorities to come to their aid.
