Ghana Loses Another Big Music Icon After Long Battle With Cancer Since 2021
The Ghana Music industry has lost another big music Enthusiast and Icon. After Battling with Cancer since 2021, Saxophonist Faat has joined his ancestors.
The confirmation was made by his brother and music companion Dela Jackson on Facebook.
“SO SORRY TO ANNOUNCE TO THE MUSIC FRATERNITY THAT WE LOST OUR BROTHER COL. FAAT THIS MORNING AFTER A LONG BATTLE WITH CANCER. MAY YOUR SOUL REST IN PERFECT PEACE MY BROTHER COLONEL FAAT” Jackson Dela Kwakumey announced the sad news to the Music fraternity.
Musician Kwabena Screwface also tagged major music stars like Mzbel, Buk Bak, Hammer and others in the sad announcement.
Social media sensationalist and former HIV Ambassador Joyce Dzidzor Mensa also shared some photos and about the departed music icon when she once visited him on his hospital bed.
” I promised to come and see you last week when I come to Ghana only to be told that you are dead. Rest In Peace Faat” Joyce Dzidzor Mensa also wrote on her official Facebook page.
Before his demise, Faat was a Saxophonist for almost all the music stars in Ghana. Indeed we’ve lost an icon
