A/R: 3 Communities In Dire Need Of Potable Water (Photos& Contact)
Fufuni community, Dabaa, and Kokotiesua are all communities under the Fufuni electoral area in the Sekyere South District of the Ashanti Region who are in dire need of water.
These communities need immediate water support interventions because our predictions or warnings signs tell us that a disaster may happen in the future.
According to residents in the aforementioned communities, water scarcity is a major challenge affecting them.
It was revealed that they have only one source of potable water and that is the only borehole they relied on which at times they compelled to fetch water from untreated and other stagnant water sources.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Damak sanitation health watch to ascertain the authenticity of the situation from the Assembly Member of the area, Hon. Hayford Peprah affirmed that it’s indeed that the community is facing water scarcity
Hence, appealed to the government and other NGOs to come to the aid of the communities.
