BREAKING: Kumasi City Market completely shut down for a week | Statement released

The Kumasi City Market has been shut down for one week.

This was contained in a statement sighted by Filasconews.com.

The statement was dated 17th of March, 2023 and it was signed by the Vice Chairman of the Board of the Kumasi City Market Limited, Nana Agyenim Boateng.

The statement reads in part:

The affected area of the Kumasi City Market Limited (KCML), the epicenter of the fire(connection area) has been indefinitely closed down until further notice from technical advisors.

Also, the non affected area of the Kumasi City Market Limited (KCML) has been closed down for one week, starting Monday March 20, 2023.

This means that, the whole Kumasi City Market Limited (KCML) has been closed down completely for one week, starting today, 20th day of March, 2023, Monday.

The general public have been entreated to treat it as such until further notice from the management of the market.
