Manhyia North MP Hon. Akwasi Konadu robbed

The member of Parliament for Manhyia North Constituency in the Ashanti Region was on Friday afternoon robbed by machomen in his residence at Buokrom.
Confirming the incidence to SIR MIKE host of Asanteman FM morning show host, the 2nd Vice Chairman of the NPP in the Constituency, Ernest Kwaku Agyei said around 2-3pm the MP was robbed.
According to the story, his laptop, 15,000 Ghana cedis, his mother’s clothes and other valuable items were all stolen.
The incidence has since been reported to the regional police command for investigation.
The Ashanti regional police commander and his men has since been to the house and investigation has commenced.
It is not clear whether the robbery has any link to the NPP upcoming polling station elections album.
