An assorted drinks-laden truck has been involved in an accident on the Akomadan-Offinso highway in the Ashanti Region.

The drinks carrying vehicle, with registration number, AW-2318-Z fell on its side at about 2:45pm today, February 18, 2022 and spilled its contents on the road.
Robbert Gyamfi, a journalist with Cruz FM in Akomadan, who witnessed the incident said, he was alerted to the situation and rushed to the scene and noticed a lot of casualties.
Robee as affectionately called by his colleagues told filasconews that, the driver and the other passengers on board have been retrieved from the vehicle.
He said they are yet to unraveled what cause the truck to overturn.
