Fire guts Wood Processing Company At Busunu
Fire has swept through sections of the Harrison Wood Processing Company at Busunu in Damango on Tuesday January 11, 2022.

The Damongo Fire Station responded to the fire after receiving the call at 1541 hours.
The firefighting Crew met the fire🔥raging intensely in the yard of the Sawmill and spreading in all directions as a result of the strong harmattan winds coupled with the presence of available dried vegetation, wood logs and other processed woods when they arrived at the fire scene at 1614 hours.
It took the firefighting Crew 2 hours 25 minutes to finally knock down the raging fire from destroying the entire sawmill premises.
Investigation revealed that the fire started in a nearby bush and spread into the yard of Harrison Wood Processing Company.
Cost of damage runs into several Thousands of Ghana Cedis. No casualty was recorded.
