The Nurse Educators’ Group Ghana (NEG) has hinted that, it will withdraw their services from all Health Facilities in the country.

In their communique available with Filasconews.com, the Group said, their concerns made to the Ministry of Health have not been addressed hence their action.

Effective this month, the Group said their action has commenced.

According to the Group, their request through a communique dated 20th of June, 2022, at the end of its 2022 Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at Sunyani to the Ministry of Health (MoH) for a review of the following Allowances and other related matters for their members in light of the current difficult economic situations in the country.

The lists below were their grievances.

1. Script marking
2. Care
3. Research Supervision
4. Practical Assessment
5. Labour Assessment
6. Invigilation
7. Field/Clinical supervision
8. Health Talk Supervision
9. Research and book etc.

Base on these and other related matters, the Group has said in their statement that, the action began on August 11, 2022.

It says, if MoH refuse to adhere to their concern then they would be forced to completely withdraw all their services from all the Health institutions.
