Breaking news: Five people including two police officers die in accident on Asikuma-Kpeve Highway

According to a Police situational report sighted by MyNewsGh.com, suspect Asupah Kwame, aged 25 was driving Ford Transit bus with registration No.GJ 729-21 with seventeen (17) passengers on board travelling from Accra to Kpassa.

Upon reaching a section of the road between Asikuma and Peki on the Asikuma -Kpeve highway, one of the tyres of the ford got burst and the vehicle veered into the opposite lane.

The two Police officers, three passengers(two males and one female) on board the ford transit bus died on the spot.
