A Senior Medical Practitioner and Chief Executive Officer for Amagashie Herbal and Spiritual Clinic, Apostle Dr Samuel Amagashie has stated that, the continues misapplication of agro_ chemical products are causing the extinction of ecological resources in the country.
According to him, the unprofessional use of pesticides, insecticides, weedicides and other chemicals by farmers had resulted in the elimination of some herbs, trees, mushrooms, snails and other flora and fauna.
Speaking with Agyenkwa fm’s Obofo Michael in an exclusive interview, he added that, the use of such chemicals have impacted hugely on the environment.
Apostle Dr Samuel Amagashie therefore advised Ghanaians to think about the health and general wellbeing of consumers of farm produce, saying applying chemicals to foodstuffs have dire consequences on human and animal lives.
He said if care is not taking, a time will come Ghanaians will found it difficult to get natural herbs to treat patients in the country.
