Justice for Kwartemaa: Family threaten to sue KATH
The family of Elizabeth Kwartemaa Laing have threatened to sue Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) over what they alleged as, Medical Negligence, on the part of the Hospital’s medical Doctor.
According to the family, the beloved Kwartemaa life was cut short at the hospital o 13th October,2021.
They have accused one doctor, Dr. Alfred Jacob Aidoo, an Anaesthetiologist, for negligently killing their sister.

JUSTICE FOR KWARTEMAA! This is Elizabeth Kwartemaa Laing.
A Midwife anaesthetist whose life was cut short at the Komfo Anokye Teaching on 13th October 2021.
Dr Alfred Jacob Aidoo,an anaesthetiologist negligently killed her after giving her regional anesthesia (spinal anaesthesia) prior to Caesarian Section on account ONE PREVIOUS CS with MATERNAL REQUEST.
The management of KATH decided to do an autopsy without the presence of any family member. The management of KATH has decided to keep the autopsy report away from the family.
The Management Of KATH has decided not to release the medical cause of death to the family . The management of KATH as usual have decided to cover the death of our beloved Elizabeth Kwartemaa Laing:
1987-2021. Kwartemaa’s soul is crying for justice. The children are crying for justice for their mother.
KATHshould for once accept they killed our beloved sister.
