Wonders: Palm-wine tapper collapses and dies after attempting to butcher a banku seller
A 42-year old palm wine tapper collapsed and died at Ekumfi Gyinankoma in the Central Region.
The tragedy occured after the palm wine tapper attempted to slaughter a “banku” seller , Efuah Grace, at her home.
The victim claims that the suspect threatened to butcher her over a phone that does not belong to him, resulting in an exchange.
Mrs. Efuah Grace added that, during the exchange of words, the deceased cursed her, but fell in the process.
Investigation conducted in the vicinity revealed that, the deceased is fond of threatening to kill people.
“He came to my with a sharpened Cutlass and threatened to butcher me.
I did not touch him but he collapsed after exchanging words”, Madam Grace shockingly unearthed on Silver news in Kumasi today monitored by filasconews.
He was rushed to the Ekumfi Akroful Clinic, which later referred him to the Ajumako Government Hospital, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival by the nurses on duty.
The remains of the deceased had since been taken to the Etuafua Mortuary in Ajumako Mando for autopsy and preservation whiles the case also been reported to the authorities for inquiry.
