JUST IN: Young man suspected to be a thief murdered at Asonomaso

A young man has met his untimely demise at Abuakwa-Asonomaso in the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
The incident happened in the early hours of Wednesday, July 6, 2022.
Narrating the unfortunate incident to Filasconews.com, eye witness Wreko Ernest said, the young man allegedly broke into a house at today’s dawn, attempted to rob the victim, Kofi Frimpong.
In the process of struggling with his victim, the alleged thief knifed the victim but unfortunately for the suspect, the victim overpowered him.
The victim then hit the suspect’s head with a heavy object.
He subjected the suspected thief to severe beatings till he have up his ghost in the room.
The Abuakwa police had since conveyed the body to the morgue while the victim who also sustained various degrees of injuries is receiving treatment at the health facility at Abuakwa.
