Immediate Release: If the NSS Boss is not sacked from office, our intended strike action will be rolled out – GRNMA
The Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) has served a notice that, it will embark on its intended strike action if the Ashanti Regional National Service Secretariat (NSS) Director, Mr. Alex Opoku Mensah is not sacked.
According to the statement of GRNMA sighted by Filasconews.com on Thursday December 1, 2022, their personnel cannot work with peaceful mind if Mr. Alex Opoku Mensah a.k.a OMENS is still at post as NSS Boss in Ashanti Region.
The association is therefore calling for his head.

We wish to inform all our members that the Ashanti Regional branch of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives ( GRNMA) has reported the conduct/ assault and the statement of threat by the Ashanti Regional National Service Secretariat Boss Mr. Alex Opoku -Mensah to the Zongo Police ( Dovisional Commander and Head CID) station in Kumasi on the 30th of November 2022.
We again wish to use this opportunity to inform all stakeholders that if the NSS boss is not sacked from office our intended strike action will be rolled out as stipulated in our press release.

Nurses and Midwives after completing school do a one year mandatory National Service so Mr. Alex Opoku – Mensah’s presence will not promote cordial working environment.
All Nures will strike until he is sacked from office.
